So today we changed the radio station we listen to and we listened to this one called Q94. Well mostly all they play is crap. I was listening hoping they would play Something 'Bout Love, but they didn't.
Why is so much music nowadays crap? I mean, just look on iTunes. Most of that stuff is crap. The only music I actually buy is mostly unknown people, so when I mention to somebody, "Oh, my favorite song is *instert song and artist*" They ask "Who the heck is that?" So I've decided that I'm gonna post something about each person that I like that most people don't know about, or only know about because of me.
David Archuleta
Yeah, he's that kid that almost won American Idol. Well, he should've won. But I won't get to that. All of us ArchAngels think that he has plenty of fans, which he does, but then go and look at somebody else who can't even sing that well. Especially live. I mean, watch this video:
Yes, I'm awkwardly singing there. And I was still new to the camera, if it gets all grainy. :P So see? He can sing awesomely (even if the quality sucks) live, which is something a LOT of artists can't do nowadays. Okay, I guess I'll stop rambling about David. Brooke White
Yeah, a lot of people don't know who she is. Most of my friends only know because of me. But she's awesome. She's that girl from American Idol (Season 7) that has never seen an R rated movie. (Mormons FTW :D) But her music is awesome too, and I've NEVER heard Brooke's music anywhere except my iPod. So yeah. Brooke can sing really good live too, but I don't know if I have a video of her saved on my computer *searches computer*

Jordin Sparks
Yeah, she won American Idol. Season six. And she's actually really cool. Season six was the first and really the only season I actually watched every week and cheered on Jordin. So when I went to the Idol concert to see her, I was excited. And Jordin is a really good role model too. (Along with the two above) She uses good language in her songs, and she dresses modestly a lot. So I really like her tooo. And a lot of people don't know who she is either, until I mention No Air. She has other songs, people. Like this one:

Elliott Yamin
Haha, I'm on an idol streak. But I promise, Elliott's the last one. He's from Richmond, Virginia. (the best hometown ever XD) And A LOT of people don't know who he his. Actually I think more people here than other people. Because of where I live. But yeah. He's also somebody I've never heard on the radio. But I've seen him three times in person (two times in concert, and once we waited in this really long line at Circuit City to get his autograph. xD) But I think his music is really good too, even if he's bigger in Japan than here.

Radio Airtime
It really isn't that important to me. I mean, yeah, it's really cool to hear your favorite artist on the radio, but I have an iPod for that. So yeah, I don't care. I've never heard Brooke on the radio. And I've heard David on Radio Disney every once in a while, and I heard Crush once on Lite 98, but that's it. But I'm okay with that. Sure, the world would be a lot better if this list of amazing artists were played daily on the radio, but they don't. And I can live with that. I mean, I've seen all of these people LIVE except Brooke. And as soon as she comes to Richmond, I will be first in line to see her. And I'll be right at the front of the stage, cheering her on. :)
