2010

Wow.  I honestly cannot believe that 2010 is pretty much over.  I mean, it seems like I was just starting eighth grade.  But anyways, I decided that I would blog one awesome thing that happened each month of 2010. :)

January
Hmmmm.. I can't even remember last January.  Seriously.  I think I went bowling with my gym class.  XD That was awesomeness.  But I really cannot remember anything else that happened.

February
Well this blog is going to be useless if I can't think of anything.  :P  Seriouslllllyyyy.  I guess my life was boring then.  OH WAITTTT.  I got oral surgery then.  XD  It was like, February 19th.  That was interesting.  I was terrified, but it really wasn't that bad.  All they did was remove some skin to help expose my twelve year old molars.  And that is why I have had my braces for over three years now.

March
Okay, so I honestly can't think of much to write about from the beginning of the year.  So I'm looking at my Facebook pictures.  XD  So in March the only pictures I uploaded were from this community service thingy my friends and I did.  It was awesome because we really didn't have to do much, and what we did was fun.  And we did it like three times.  That was pretty awesome.

April
Okay, I actually have something off the top of my head for this.  MARCO ISLANDDDDD.  We DROVE to Florida for Spring Break.  It was awesome sauce.  Like my dad's boss paid for the place that we stayed at, and they gave us access keys to the beach.  It was so prettttty.  And we get to go back in 2011! :D  And this time I have an awesome camera.
Oh and apparently we went to Busch Gardens with our band on April 30th, not in May.  I'll have to find something else to write about, dang it.  But Busch Gardens was awesome because I got to spend all day with the awesomest people in the world. :)

May
May.  What even happened then? XD  I guess eighth grade started to wind down then.  *sigh*  I miss eighth grade.  A lot.  Like even though it was a ton of work and I thought I hated it, If anybody offered, I think I would go back to Moody in a heartbeat.  Ugh, Varina.  I don't even wanna think about having to go back on Monday.  But yeah, eighth grade was awesome.

June
June was a veryyyyy busy month. Like first, we went to Luray Caverns on our eighth grade field trip.  That was.... interesting.  I found out I don't like caverns.  When we finally got down in there I got all lightheaded.  XD Luckily I have awesome friends that stayed back with me.  Then we went through some random maze.  XD Imagine that.  The IB nerds running through a maze.  It was fun.  :P
Next in June was the last day of school.  I honestly don't want to write about this day, because just thinking about it puts this terrible feeling in my stomach.  Ugh.  I actually made it through the whole school day without crying.  But as soon as that bell rang, I hurried out to my mom.  And then came the waterworks.  Like seriously, I probably cried for at least thirty minutes.  And then we went and saw Toy Story 3 right afterwards, and there's parts of that movie that made me want to cry, but I wouldn't let myself because if I did, I would just start bawling about school ending again.  That day was probably the saddest day of the year.  Just typing this makes me sad.  Time for the next June event.
And then at the end of June/beginning of July, I went to Girl's Camp.  I didn't go last year because I had such a terrible experience with homesickness when I first went.  But this year Jennifer was there, and I honestly believe that just because she was there was the reason I had such a better experience.  It was awesome.

July
July was pretty fun.  We went to Youth Conference and that was a pretty fun experience.  The only thing I didn't like was our crazy schedule.  Like on that Friday we went to bed around midnight and we had to be up by like six for breakfast.  That means we had to be up around five to get ready and pack.  Yeah, I fell asleep during our testimony meeting, whooops.  But I don't normally stay up that late.  Ever.  XD

August
na na na in a California Soooooong.  Yeah, in August we went to California.  San Fransisco, to be exact.  That was awesome.  We went to Alcatraz, down Lomard Street, ate at In-and-Out Burger, drove and walked across the Golden Gate Bridge, saw Redwoods, went to the Jelly Belly factory, went to the Oakland Temple, went to a Giant's game (who ended up winning the world series ;D), and other stuff I can't remember right now.  That trip was awesome until something on our plane broke and they delayed our plane TWELVE hours.  So we left California at like one, California time.  We got to Atlanta around eight, Atlanta time, and we RAN through the Atlanta airport to get on the plane to Richmond.  We barely made it, and we had to sit in the back near the engine, but it was worth it because the next plane to Richmond wasn't until like one or something.  And yeah.  That was an interesting end to our trip. :P  But overall, California is awesome.

September
So my friends came over like two days after we got back from California, that was fun because I hadn't seen them since that horrid last day of school.  And also they came with me to this party thingy at church.  It was awesome.
And I started the horrrrrible ninth grade.  Ugh.  That first day of school was the worst day of my life, hands down.  So I got to school, and my communications class was okay.  Except 95% of the people in my class already knew each other because they all went to the same school.  My math class scared me.  Seriously, if you saw it, you would be scared too.  I mean, I think I'm the only one in there that got a C in Algebra I last year.  The rest of them failed.  I'm mad that I'm still in this class.  I just read and do other homework in there, with my A while the rest of those kids are failing.  Again.  We have a senior in there too.  Oh, and my teacher has cussed out students too.  Fun sounding class, right?  Haha, think again.  Then my history class was the first time that day I talked to somebody.  I had to talk to the kid sitting next to me to find something out about them.  Of course, I sat next to the only kid that I somewhat knew, who was Rashi.  So he was the first person I talked to in high school.  Then what was my fifth blockk?  Oh yeaaah, that was when my Spanish III class was.  Until I switched to band.  But that class was humiliating, because all of these new faces and our teacher made us introduce ourselves and then we had to say the names of everyone in front of us.  I felt so awkward because I'm terrible with names.  Seriously.  My face was so red during that class....  And then lunch.  Ugh, worst part of the day, hands down.  I was so overwhelmed by the ginormaous group of people in the cafeteria, I just sat down somewhere random, where nobody else was because I looked around for people, but of course I didn't know anybody.  During lunch, I literally had to sit there and distract myself so I wouldn't start to cry.  I was so sad and lonely and scared.  At least now I sit with two people.  But then I had science.  That class scares me also, but I love the teacher.  She is awesome.  And this is the first year that I actually like science class.  And then chorus.  Oh, I thought I liked chorus on the first day of school.  One of my old friends were in that class.  But she really kinda ignored me to talk to her other friends.  And the teacher... well she made a bunch of us into altos after a few weeks because the notes were too high.  Well she didn't even try to teach us how to be altos, so I still sang the soprano part.  Loudly too.  So my AMAZING guidance consulor who I love was able to switch me into honor's band toward the end of September.  That made me happy.  I feel awkward in band, because of many things, but one main one is that I can't hit half of the notes we're supposed to play.  :P  See, next year I'm gonna take driver's ed and something else, I'm just gonna give up on music classes.  And so back to the first day of schoool.. oh as soon as I got off the bus I was pretty much sobbing.  But yeah.  Varina still sucks now, I just have three friends.  The sad part about these three friends is that two of them are in my three communications classes, and two of them are in my lunch.  That's it.  So in math, band, science, and Spanish, I am that lonely kid.  Yup.  At least Varina is soooooo easy.  Like everybody tells you "Oh ninth grade will be so much harder and you will probably get lower grades."  But I've actually gotten my best grades since elementary schooool. :P  I cannot wait until I am done with Varina.

October
XD Dang that post about Varina was huge.  I also forgot to mention that in the beginning of September I became obsessed with the office.  Like it was what I would do after school, since I don't have much homework.  I watched all of the office, and now look at me.  I own all six seasons now. ;)
I honestly cannot think of anything that happened in October.  I got my new camera and I got to sleepover at my best friend's house.  That's about it.
OH WAAAAIT. hlgdfkgjhdfgjkld I MET ALL CAPS.  Like on October 13th. (Yes, I know the date off the top of my head.  I'm proud.)  That day was amazing.  We went to DC and did touristy stuff and then we went to the TripleRainbowAwesome meetup.  So much awesome was there.  AND I MEEEEEET KRISTINA.  And then I watched her tour video and you can see me.  ;)  I'm so happpy.
And The Other Side of Down came out on October 5th. ;)

November
NaNoWriMo.  NaNoWriMo was awesome.  I actually really enjoyed it.  I probably should finish my novel now.  XD I guess that will be my New Year's resolution.
Also in November I got to spend time the two awesomest people in the world at the other church thingy.  We ended up eating donuts off of trees.  XD
December
December was a busy month.   First important thing, I had my birthday party with my friends at CiCi's.  That was amazing.  I got to see all of my awesome friends.
And then I had my family birthday party and got my iPod. ;D  I love that thing.
And then my birthday we went to Chuck-e-Cheese's and the Apple Store. ;)
And then Christmas was awesome because I got all six seasons of The Office.
And now it's New Year's Eve.
(XD Can you tell I'm tired of writing now?  I've been working on this for about an hour now.  I'm done.)

But 2010 was an interesting year.  My goal for 2011?  Spend more time with my friends.  Like in person.  All we ever do is Tinychat. XD
So yeah.  Time for Maplestory.  Goodbye, 2010.
