So we left home around 2:45ish. We got about a minute down the road, and we had to come back because my mom forgot her credit card. :P So after we got that, we left for Norfolk. And then we drove and drove and drove until we got to a Walmart. (We needed batteries) So we got batteries and hit the road again. This is when we go stuck in beach traffic. I started to freak out, thinking that we weren't going to make it to the restaurant in time for our reservations. (5:30) Luckily, there was the "Alternate Tunnel Route" that we took, that was not backed up, and we ended up getting there pretty fast. So we got there and we saw this:
And then we went to the restaurant. The Backstage Cafe. If you eat there, then you could go in fifteen minutes before the regular people. So we were able to get in around 6:45. And that's how we ended up standing right in front of the stage.
So yeah. I went to the Mike and Ike booth, and the no texting and driving booth before the other people came in.
So after standing there for a little while, my mom noticed shadows up in a window. It was Jordin. And the people she was doing the meet and greets with. So I kinda just watched her for a while. Until she left. :P Then I sat on the floor until the opening act started. Days Difference. They were good. I just didn't know any of there songs. When they were done, Kate Vouegele performed. I didn't know any of her songs either. Jordin tweeted then. :P
So when Kate was over, I started spazzing. :P And then the band came out. And the music started. And I got out my Flip. And then guess what? Jordin came out! :D I'll admit it.. I screamed. And so I filmed Battlefield on my epic Flip, until like, the very end where this security dude came over and yelled "NO FLIPS." So that was the only video I got on my Flip. So then she sang SOS (Let the Music Play) and then Watch You Go. And then the song I was looking forward to the most. EMERGENCY (911) :D I was singing every word, and dancing. So I got my mom to film it. The funniest thing was, the lady next to me kept staring at me like I was crazy. What do you do at concerts, staring lady? You're supposed to sing and dance. And have fun. Anyway.. Then she sang It Takes More and Don't Let It Go To Your Head. And then they were having technical difficulties, so she said she was going to take questions. I yelled "WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE FOOD?" "My favorite food?" "YEAH." "Um... well my favorite snack food is pickles." We laughed. "What's so funny about that? Who else like's pickles?" *screams* Then she sang One Step at A Time. And take note, I singing along to every song. :) The Walking on Snow, No Parade, Freeze, and Young and In Love. Then, she sang VIRGINIA IS FOR LOVERS. :D Just because she was here. In Virginia. I thought it was quite awesome. So anyway.. Then she sang Tattoo and No Air. And then it was all over. And I was quite hyper. So then we ran into Chris Richardson. :D
And then we went outside and waited for a hour. For Jordin. We never saw her. :P We waited and waited and waited and I'm sure she came outside right after we left. But anyway.. The concert was awesome. I kinda fell asleep on the way home. Oh, and during church yesterday. xD
But Jordin was awesome.
But Jordin was awesome.
